Jks rear track bar barcket with 3 inch lift, correct?

I have been using the JKS Reat Track Bar for 4 years. Being adjustable is kool, but being able to rotate the end a little to make it easy to install was the big win.

    Control arm groaning

Replacing the control arms one at a time is a good idea. Do not tighten the bolts while you have the Jeep raised up. The Jeep should be all wheels down when tightening the control arms. It doesn't hurt to bounce on the bumper once of twice to settle things in before tightening.

Soldering battery cable and why it is very bad

Here is a good article on making your own battery cables. I started here when I rehabbed the battery compartment of my RV. https://marinehowto.com/making-your-own-battery-cables/ FWIW, I didn't buy the high dollar crimpers. Several members on the RV forum I frequent had reported positively on...

Colorado Tips on Ouray, CO trip

Late June may be OK. Some passes don't open until mid-July. One of the best easy rides is Ouray - 550 - California - Animas Fork - Silverton - back to Ouray on 550. I would avoid Mineral Creek/Lower Engineer. It can be done in a stock Jeep but you will drag some parts and it will be...

    Georgia Georgia Traverse

Most of the GA Traverse can be done in a 2 wheel drive vehicle with adequate clearance. There will be a few rough spots and some water crossings. The western 1/3 is more paved than the eastern 2/3s. The Georgia Traverse shared some roads with the Smokey Mountains 500, which goes through...

Pitman arm angle with wheels straight

I didn't see a rust spot. I saw mud. The fact that the damaged spot is a little out of focus doesn't help. Mr. Blaine - you've answered a 2 year old question for me. I was wheeling with some friends. One buddy got a flat when he whacfked a trailside rock. We fixed the flat and finsished...

Pitman arm angle with wheels straight

That's why you make the big bucks. Did you see it in the photo first or did you suspect it from previous experience and zoom in to look for it?

Top Fuel dragster acceleration put into perspective

from the original post: " Under full throttle, a dragster engine consumes 11.2 gallons of nitro methane per second; a fully loaded 747 consumes jet fuel at the same rate with 25% less energy being produced." The 11.2 gallons of nitro methane per second is supposed to be 1 1/2 gallons of nitro...

Top Fuel dragster acceleration put into perspective

I had the good fortune of touring the Don Gartlis Museum with Don as the guide. This was 16-18 years ago. Don was 72. He had just returned from Indy, where he broke the 300 mph barrier for the first time. It was as much a stunt as a competitive run. He broke many speed barriers, but hadn't...

Drivers seat belt (Little things that are hugely annoying!)

My seatbelt does the same. I haven't determined what it doesn't retract. I bet mine has a fold too. It is a pain. Ignore the buttwipe guys. They think they are on pirate4x4.
