    Vimetal Baja Overland Trailer?

Shop around, do your research, and get the best you can. A dedicated trailer place can hopefully answer your questions. I'd like to think going with a well known brand name like Dexter and Timken would provide quality goods.

    Vimetal Baja Overland Trailer?

I don't understand your comment. When shopping for a spare hub/brake assembly, shop around, do your research and get the best you can. Those are the only moving parts on a trailer that can leave you stranded (ok, you can argue the suspension technically moves). But in a pinch, a new loaded...

    Vimetal Baja Overland Trailer?

While you can get hubs/drums with matching bolt patterns, be aware. Trailer hubs have a center that sticks out. Your Jeep's wheel's may not have a center hole large enough for the hub to pass through. So you might have to add spacers or adapters, so measure carefully if ordering axles. I've...

    Vimetal Baja Overland Trailer?

https://www.jeepforum.com/threads/mini-harbor-freight-type-trailer-ultimate-build-up-thread.1180456/ See if this works. It is a long thread, but once you get through it you'll know everything you need to know to build one of your own. Let me know if I can answer any questions.

    Vimetal Baja Overland Trailer?

That's my trailer. It has a 3500lb axle and electric brakes. I'm glad I've got the trailer brakes, especially when pulled by the flatty or TJ.

Is Rock Hard 4x4 rear tire carrier / bumper still the overall recommendation?

And then, once you've got the spare off the tailgate, get a kit from SWAG so your tailgate can be used as a table. https://www.swagoffroad.com/products/swag-jeep-wrangler-aluminum-drop-down-tailgate-conversion-kit I had a lot of holes drilled in my tailgate when I mounted a higher spare tire...

Is Rock Hard 4x4 rear tire carrier / bumper still the overall recommendation?

Dirtworx rear bumper with swing-away spare tire carrier. https://www.thedirtworx.com/product-page/tire-carrier-with-single-can-mount $729.99 with the offset tire and mount for a jerry can. It comes bare - you need to paint it (I used gloss black spray-paint). This is what I'm running on my...

Washington Huge WA 4x4 Swap Meet in March 2023

Seems like every year I go I find something I didn't know I needed (hence the backpack). And as usual, the day prior (9 March) they're having the annual Mike & Key Electronics Show and Swap Meet. Think Ham radios. https://www.mikeandkey.org/SwapMeet.php...

Awesome. Here's a link for everyone: https://www.moonshinersjeepclub.com/swapmeet/ For those of you who have never attended, this event is huge. It isn't just a couple tables with some stuff a few guys are getting rid of. You'll be walking down isles and such for a while. I bring a...

Washington Huge WA 4x4 Swap Meet in March 2023

The 2024 4x4 swap meet is this Sunday, 10 March; same place and times. I'll be there even though I don't technically "need" anything for any of my Jeeps. It's still fun to attend and see what's out there.

Toyota lights on your TJ! Cheap, quality LED alternative

I think it is the plug that goes to your headlight itself.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Replacing the battery. It had a Di-Hard 65 series battery. What's interesting is the battery is dated 3-12. Almost 12 years old! Replaced it with a 65 series AGM battery from Wal-Mart ($179.00 before tax).

Toyota H4 headlight kit heads up

I put these Toyota lights in my 46 Willys CJ2A. Already had an H4 set-up in my TJ.

Reviews for the Camper/Jeep King TJ Hard Tops

It is always nice if you can provide a link and possibly a picture when you're asking about a product. I have a Bull Dawg hardtop and their half-doors on my TJ, and have been happy with it...
