You are correct but I still use light heat from a cigar torch. The lugs I’ve been using are a heavy duty deep barrel type and it seams around 2G plus sizes the heat helps..

I recently reworked all my cables using 2G wire with straight fittings and was able to put a 45-degree on them with a small amount of heat. It worked out great and didn’t need to butcher the fuse box or door to get it to close.

A low mileage first year TJR is worth more out here in California! I would start at $22,995.. Good luck!

I have the original Goodyear Kevlar MTR’s that have become very rough & loud due to their age. As an audio video contractor it’s been tuff to get the audio system to sound clean with the MTR’s and been lookin forward to an A/T tire!

My tire machine broke but will be installing soon..

I just upgraded mine and the ground cables were ready.. check your grounds at the block and firewall.

Just finished making new 2G battery cables for my rig and definitely a worthy upgrade. The crimps from left to right are each reduced 25-30 thousand’s to not distort the barrel area. I also do pull tests with each new gauge cable I’m crimping just to prevent any welding in the engine bay...
