    Soft upper door fitment

Hello everybody, I’m on here to see how to fix my issue. My soft upper doors have not fit since I’ve gotten the jeep. I’m not sure if it’s the wrong frame or what. They do not seal at all even with the lightest drizzle water will find its way in. And the wind noise is severe. I’ve tried...

    30x9.5R15 vs 265/75R15

Hello everyone, I am shopping for new tires for my TJ and I have always been a Cooper guy. Id like to run Cooper AT3 4S on my tj but they do not make it in 30" tire. I was wondering if there is any noticeable difference in 30x9.5R15 and 265/75R15. I understand it is a little over half and inch...

    TJ 2.5 engine replacement

S&J engines come with a seal kit, they install all of them except obviously the valve cover, timing cover, and oil pan and a few others. They will also send you break in oil that you run for like 500 miles. Only thing I bought was my clutch, and the usual tune up stuff like spark plugs, spark...

Where to get a differential rebuild?

Hello everyone, I'm from Yakima wa. and trying to find someone in eastern washington who knows how to rebuild diffs. I'd love to learn myself but I dont have the confidence to do it after reading some horror stories. I just need a rebuild, bearings are groaning but gears are in good shape. If im...

    TJ 2.5 engine replacement

My whole thing replacing the engine was it had a lot of blow by, and I couldn’t go above 60 on the highway, although it’s much better now I get very bad gas mileage compared to my 4.0 and still doesn’t go very fast on the highway. I do have a vibration issue I cannot for the life of me figure...

    TJ 2.5 engine replacement

It’s a considerably easy job. I had it out in a half days work same with the new one. The time consuming part was cleaning all the parts I wasn’t replacing like the valve cover, engine bay etc. and swapping parts from the old to the new, like studs, dizzy, oil pan, mounts, and brackets. That did...

    TJ 2.5 engine replacement

Motor runs really good. No issues so far. Nothing I would do different either, biggest thing I’m glad I did is do a new clutch assembly and fly wheel while I was in there. I daily drive it to work, and it’s going strong

    Noisy rear end

How hard was this job? And what did you replace exactly

    Noisy rear end

My noise is different. It starts at around 15mph and will change pitch as I go faster but it’s still loud and clear when decelerating. Doesn’t change based on gear or rpm just speed

    Noisy rear end

okay okay. Does the video above sound like an internal bearing?

    Noisy rear end

Yea that’s how I’ve always seen people do it, but I always always have really bad luck with doing just rtv, I always do a gasket and a very thin layer of rtv on each side. And I’ve never had a problem. I don’t doubt it will work, it’s just how I do it

    Noisy rear end

I took this video on the way to work. You can really hear it once it hits second gear. Haven’t heard anything like this on any of the other forums.
