Anyone running a 2 1/2" lift with 33 in tires? Pics / Opinions wanted!

Mine has a 2" lift on 33" x 12.5" x 15" tires. No problem with rubbing but I'm not offroading it. One day I plan on a 2.5" suspension lift with 1.25" body lift.

    No longer angry

Must be the high gas prices changing those angry eyes to sad eyes. 😄

Side step suggestions (and yes I understand they provide no protection)

I added mine plus a set of grabars due to a back injury which made lifting my foot up high enough to get in almost impossible. After having surgery to add a few aftermarket titanuim parts to fuse 3 vertebrae, I no longer use them but they still come in handy for my 83 yr old father to be able...

Side step suggestions (and yes I understand they provide no protection)

I went with these steps from Rough Country. https://www.extremeterrain.com/rough-country-wheel-to-wheel-nerf-side-step-bars-black-9706-tj-excluding-unl.html They were easy to install, bolt between the frame and body and are rock solid.

    TJ Fender Flare Suggestions

Thanks, I appreciate it. They look good on your jeep. I think I'm going to give them a try.

    TJ Fender Flare Suggestions

Thats cool, would you happen to have any photos of them on your jeep? Did the install go well without any modifications? Do the flares feel solid and well made? Did you install the factory side markers? So far I've been unable to find a good picture from the side showing how the side markers...

    TJ Fender Flare Suggestions

I like the looks of the flat style flares as well so I was thinking about giving these a try. https://www.kbdbodykits.com/jeep-wrangler-tj-1997-2006-front-rear-4-piece-polyurethane-fender-flares-kit Since my jeep is a Sahara and has a brown hardtop, I think they would look better painted...

Simple DIY TJ Hard Top Hoist

I did the exact same thing. Installed 4 eye bolts in the ceiling of my carport and bought 4 ratchet straps and two 6' lifting straps from Harbor Freight. I run the lifting straps from the open back glass to the front door opening on each side and hook the loops to the ratchet strap hooks. Quick...

Beware Cheap Wild Boar Grab Handles

I bought a cheap wild boar set at first from Amazon and had to return them because they were junk. I believe the reason some people like them and others do not is because of the inconsistency of cheap Chinese steel. With the pair I bought, one mounting plate was solid as a rock and the other...

    Urethane Flat Fender Flares

    Urethane Flat Fender Flares

Those look great. How was the installation? Mounting holes line up alright? Any problems or modifications that had to be made? Did you mount the factory side marker?

    Improved rear seat retainer strap

I came across a post about a rear seat retainer strap that came with the TJ to keep the rear seat from falling down when it was in the upright folded position. https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/rear-seat-retainer-strap-is-so-worthless-that-it-is-rare.50383/ Since I bought my TJ used, it...

    Milestar Patagonia 15k Mile Review

Agreed. I also remember reading how you can't put 33's on your jeep with 3.07 gearing cause it'll lug so bad you'll wanna hang yourself yet here I am running 33's with 3.07 gears and running 90 mph on the interstate up and down the mountain like its nothing. 😉 Makes you kinda doubt that whole...

    Milestar Patagonia 15k Mile Review

I've had them in snow and mud and my jeep pulled through it with zero problems with them at all. Very happy with their performance.

    Milestar Patagonia 15k Mile Review

That is interesting. Did you know I never had any complaints about my Patagonias and never needed to do anything to make them work? Funny isn't it?
