    Cool You Tube Videos

Maybe a little chaotic, but the only way to know is to try. I always give the snow/ice a few slip tests to see how things are going.

That's too much for zorba. He needs the phone to be in a booth a block away. :sneaky: That reminds me, I can't remember the last time I seen an operational payphone or a phone booth.

I don't think a back fist is legal in boxing, but here's that. I haven't done the spinning stuff lately. I think I'll slide some in this evening.

I'm a firm believer that you win the fight you avoid, but if forced, I'm more of a believer in hard body shots. Unless you have played the sports and trained for it, 99% of people have no idea how to handle a body shot, and if you pop that liver with a hook, well, I've seen pro fighters taken...

@Chris so what are a few of your combos you like to run on the heavy bag? One of my favorites is jab, cross/overhand while rolling and stepping to the lead side, hook to the body, hook to the head, rear leg across the body. I fight orthodox and southpaw, so I'll use that last hit or kick to...

It's just part of the sport. Kickboxers love the thai style short shorts that leave some of us in danger of a dangler. :sneaky:

Eddie is a big dude and pretty energetic, especially for being 6 foot something and 350+ lbs, but he likes to have fun. I wouldn't want him mad at me.

It is, but it seems to be very common with the aesthetic muscle crowd, both men and maybe more so women. Are you familiar with Eddie Hall? He was a strongman, not a bodybuilder, but he took a little adventure into boxing and MMA. If you don't know who Eddie Hall is, look him up, he's...

Na, they came in thinking those muscles and size made them tuff, then we gently passed them through actual pain thresholds and they reconsidered. ;) I remember one guy coming in to a kickboxing class and trying to tee off on a small new guy. I was still relatively new at that time but seen it...

Here's some entertaining fighting in Don Freys shadow.... or something like that. If you're not familiar with the Rough 'N Rowdy fighting series, you should be. ;)

I remember some big guys walking into our gym thinking they were something, almost always for boxing. They rarely came back for a second day and we're always nice to the new people.

I've always loved listening to Don Frey tell stories. They say if you watch Don and Yoshihiro battle, your testosterone will jump 100 points. :sneaky:

There are strikers, then there are wrestlers. ;) In the gym I went to there was a clear divide between the strikers and the ground guys. We got along just fine but rarely crossed over into the other territory. I gave BJJ just enough time to learn two things, 1- I don't belong on the ground, and...

I've never been into wrestling. Just too much "hugging" with another man on the ground.
