    Front pinion overhaul

I need to overhaul the front diff on my 2005 TJ auto I would like to order all the parts I need prior to starting the job. I normally purchase my parts from RockAuto but it is difficult to identify the exact thrust bearings and seals I need for the pinion. Can anybody help with part numbers please.

    Starter Motor

My starter motor sometimes wouldn't run. So I removed the stater motor assembly and started dismantling the components. Mine is three speed but only works on 1 The resistor unit is the style that has the coils and what looks like a diode or a resistor. All the coils are intact.

Can the blower motor resistor unit still be faulty despite it looking ok?

The blower on my 05 TJ is showing all the symptoms of faulty resistor. Only goes on one speed (second one) but blows at full speed. I have pulled the resistor but all the coils look fine. Can the resistor unit still be faulty despite it looking ok? Cheers Bob

    Time to replace control arms

My 2005 TJ has a 2" lift and done 60K miles and the lower control arms are looking very beaten up. I am happy with its handling and dont do any hardcore wheeling. Should i purchase another set of standard arms or something else?

    Substitute for Mopar ATF-4

Ok I've ordered Amsoil Multi Vehicle Synthetic ATF. Their technical data sheet very specifically claims it exceeds the +4 spec required the Chrysler. Will be a few days before it arrives. Problem now solved. Thank you everyone who contributed to the thread.
