Swapped out my 9 yr old chinesium LED headlights for new chinesium LED headlights. Between the two of them, this puts me at 17% of the cost of a set of JW Speaker headlights, so I can’t be upset.

Hmmm… that could be. I replaced the control panel years ago, but I can’t recall what the issue was then. I still have the old one in my garage somewhere. Might need to dig it out and see what parts I can salvage.

I think I’ve done mine 4? Times with the cheap autozone ones… getting pretty good at it now, though I always seem to end up with an extra screw or two, which, after so many swaps is getting concerning.

Got an issue where my blower will blow all speeds, but sometimes only will blow on 3 or 4 if I’m keeping ever so slight pressure on the selector knob. I suspect there’s a contact in there that is just not contacting correctly, but haven’t taken it apart yet. Mostly because it gets so damned...

Oh… turns out the O2 code cleared, but now it’s an “Evap system flow rate” or whatever code. Jiggled the pump around and checked the connector and then reset the code. That’s a new one during this whole process, so hopefully I just bumped something loose and not another rabbit hole…

Installed LED resistors in the turn signals to stop the incessant beeping when my headlights are on. Also new pedal covers. Haven’t had one on the clutch in years. LJ untucking continues… Annoyingly the CEL popped again with an O2 sensor code. Hoping it’s just the sensor this time as...

Passed emissions… looks like I’ll keep the state nannies off my back for another year…
