    Shifter bezel retention

I replaced the boot on the shifter today, and along with that project, I attempted to get the plastic bezel to stop popping out. I replaced the little spring clips that hold it in place to no avail… the damned thing just won’t stay and flops all around. Before I get creative with the adhesive...

    Spiderweb shade coverage

I sold my Spiderwebshade for the reasons MrBlaine mentioned. It doesn't block the sun/rain as well as a bikini/safari top, and doesn't provide the feel of topless riding. Its the worst of both worlds.

Anyone got a lead on a Mopar heater core?

Yeah, hopefully these guys have one since nothing is available any time soon. It's kind of funny... I replaced a leaking radiator cap about 3 weeks ago. Then 2 weeks ago the radiator cracked after 250k miles, so I swapped that, now, here we are.

Anyone got a lead on a Mopar heater core?

Looks like the Performance Radiator unit is popular. Going to give them a call as it seems their website is still giving people the same error message.

Anyone got a lead on a Mopar heater core?

The latest in what appears to be a one by one replacement of the cooling system on this Jeep is that my heater core just puked all over the passenger floorboard. I swapped this thing out about 2 yrs ago using One of the handful of options on Amazon. This go-round I'd prefer to use MOPAR, but...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Ordered a new radiator when the kindly guy at the cigar shop asked why my Jeep was smoking more than me. nice little crack along the top of the plastic. Yay me. Thankfully my buddy's out of town this week, so I get to drive his LJ until I get mine sorted out.

    Clearing CEL by disconnecting battery

hate to break it to you, but it took a new PCM to fix. $1000 and about 15 minutes, codes went away and never returned. @Wranglerfix can get you squared away.

Question for anyone with a Procomp Rock Crawler bumper w/receiver

Nope- Yamaha Tw200. Not TECHNICALLY a dirt bike I guess, but close enough. ~270 ish pounds. My wife wants to learn to ride, and it's basically a 2 wheeled jeep, so I'll have some fun with it too.

Question for anyone with a Procomp Rock Crawler bumper w/receiver

There used to be a tag on mine with what weight it could handle for accessories (NOT towing) My tag has disappeared, but I want to say it was either 250 or 350. Basically, I need to get a dirt bike home from about 50 miles away. I've got access to a hitch rack, but can't recall what the hitch...

    Anybody familiar with GAIA GPS?

I've used Gaia for years. My preference is to download maps for the areas I am going to be in at a resolution sufficient to see the trails, roads, etc that I need (you can adjust the resolution in the download settings). if you try to download the maps for a huge area at a useful resolution...

    My house is on fire

My house is very weird, but in the most reassuring way in terms of fire. The garage is attached, but is made of stacked granite on all 4 walls with a roof (that is my back porch) made of a 6" concrete slab. I have told my wife that in the event of a tornado, we are all heading in to the garage...

    Upgrading a basic utility trailer

I've browsed that site a few times. The thought of rolling my own is attractive, but I'm becoming more and more aware that I simply don't have time to DIY as much as I'd like. Between two wranglers and a 100+ yr old house, you can imagine.
