The chrome is gone, most of it anyway. Sanded it 3 times, then primer, then sand, then primer, then sand ... finally black.

Is there any benefit to running in 4 hi ? My wife’s FJ Cruiser says in the owners manual to run 4 hi for 10 miles once a month, in a straight line. Basically to keep everything lubricated in the diff and transfer case. Just wondering if I should do that as my jeep see’s more street time than...

If my wife ‘loved’ to drive it, I’d be happy. But she don’t, and she’d rather not. My daughter on the other hand gets it. She loves her YJ.

I have an angry sparrow. So the plan is to replace the centering yoke and the 3 u joints on the front DS. I’ve seen the Spicer kits ... but I cannot seem to find the NON greaseable u joints. I understand they are stronger. Anyone know a part number or kit number ?

Okay. Here’s what I found, when I start the Jeep the light does not come on, even for a second. However, i turned the passenger airbag off, and the light does work. so, what else would cause the airbag light on the dash to come on ? Seems to be intermittent as it is off now.

Thank you. But no, wasn’t talking about the dashboard light, talking about the light at the switch. I’ve never seen it on when I start the Jeep. Does it stay on when you turn the airbag off ?
