    What lift for 33s?

The 100% complete part was awesome. Went with the 3" and no body lift after reading the guide on here. Super happy with the ride compared to stock. Much nicer now.

    Most used / favorite tool?

Not even remotely the most used, but its my favorite when I need it :D Have had it for 30+ years and maybe used it three times. Had to drill two holes in a very limited space today. Had enough room on top to transfer punch, but not drill with a normal drill. The back side I could drill no...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Justification was I'm not putting 60s under this, and it makes no sense for me to put 44s under it. So I'm helping my Dana 30 live its best life 😁

What did you do to your TJ today?

Since I had not spent a small pile of money in a bit, I ordered a 30 spline Eaton E locker and Sierra Axle chromo shafts for my Dana 30 today 🤡 It was truly a struggle for me to spend that kind of money on a tiny axle 🙃

    All things welding

My father is a Marine and lost his left arm in 68. He used to be able to lay down machine looking welds I could not ever duplicate. But he is right handed. So he had that going for him.

    Garage Mill?

J head Bridgeport is the way to go. Or a copy like a Sharp. J head because the variable speed setup and R8 collets. Or the Sharp because its an exact Bridgeport copy and if you need accessories or parts they are available. In my home shop, I had a really good drill press till I got my mill...

    All things welding

It takes time. Lots of time. I started welding in the 80s and every day isn't my day either. But more are than not.

    All things welding

One of the things I really pushed on everyone I have taught to weld is learn to be ambidextrous and get proficient at welding out of position. They all didn't get it and ignored me. Until they realized you are not always going to always be able weld strong hand all comfy. You really get it...

    All things welding

I have an 80s Syncrowave 250. Its way more than I need. I need to downsize just because its huge. At KOH we had to tig weld a couple brackets for the first aid kit to the rear of the chassis. Predator generator and an Everlast tig machine. I had low expectations, but it 100% didn't look like...

    California Rubicon Run Summer 2024

I would rather replace with a good used OEM over an import piece. The OEM is a just about guaranteed fit. Aftermarket can have fit issues and other quirks.
