I'll reply to an old thread... the only thing I've done for my trans, besides fixing leaks, is add a bigger pan from Skyjacker (got it real cheap) and an aluminum engine/trans skid from UCF

I haven't done it to my TJ yet, but I did this with my YJ did it to my hood hinges too

it might, I've never really noticed it, if it does..but, since it's a screen, it doesn't make any noise if it does flap..and I have it fairly tight with the spiderballs

I used the rusty front passenger fender as an opportunity to install the metalcloaks on my TJ

I have the Spiderwebshades on both my YJ and TJ...they're more of a mesh screen than a shade, so light and air can come in but you don't get burned.they also don't use a header rail at all, and just fasten to the roll bars with little bungee cords, you never have to take them off..the soft top...

while I have A/C in my TJ it's a 4.0L, so not that big a thing, my TJ doesn't really feel it much when the A/C kicks on, however, I also have a 4 cylinder 5 speed YJ, and can't imagine it with A/C.. the 2.5L can't afford to have anything sucking what little power the thing has, away from...

whereabouts in AZ are you?.. and I gave my hardtop away when I moved from NJ to AZ..boh my jeeps run soft tops when they run a top, I usually just use spiderwebshades.. ...and my pistol is on my hip, it won't do you any good, if it's locked in your jeep when you need it

haven't messed too much with the door handles on the half doors on my TJ, and the half doors on my YJ don't even have locks

yup.. we will either get heavy rains during monsoon season, or the occasional haboob (huge dust storm) during the late summer when it gets really hot, dry, and windy...the rest of the time though it's just sunny and dry
