SOLD 2004 Jeep LJ turn-key build

Yes, the gullwing's are an absolute game changer. Locally if an OEM LJ hard top showed up it most likely had damage and still commanded $2k. So the delta is very much worth it.

Should I re-gear for 33s or get smaller tires?

    5.13's are wonderful with my 33's. 42RLE

    SAR TJ Build

4" Currie/Savvy springs and told them I had an LJ when I called to order. Never really bothered to measure, but it's a solid 4" to the eye.

    35s to Rubicon or not

I wanted a clean southern as stock as possible LJ. Rubicon or not, whatever I could find locally in good shape I'd jump on it. Found a pretty solid 04 and jumped. Would a Rubicon be easier and more cost effective? Probably and would be nice to have OEM setup for lockers, etc.. That said I had...

A comparison of building for 33s and 35s

It will fit today and I don't have to do a body lift. Also a few of us like skinnies and a 34x11 would be perfect IMO. I just don't want to run 17's on a TJ. they work great on my 4runner

A comparison of building for 33s and 35s

Good thread. I keep wanting to jump to 35's but why? It looks good, but I'd loose all the pep and power available now I get with the 33's. I'm also a big Toyota guy and there are several 34" in options on a 17" wheel which are popular on the Cruisers, 4Runners, and and Tacoma's. 285/75/17 and...

Bull Dawg LJ Hardtop Initial Impressions

It’s fiberglass. Mine is airy as it’s white with random dark sprays. I’ll get a pic tomorrow. I’m sure you could easily line it. Try Erin, she was the main POC when I had questions. 423.777.4915
