Help with Kicker component speakers crossover mounting

I plan on temporarily mounting them like you said with some double sided tape. If they sound good there I will pull the trim and cut the hole then. My concern is where and how to mount the crossover boxes in the second picture.

Help with Kicker component speakers crossover mounting

Hopefully some of the audio experts who have installed component speakers can guide me to where and how I should mount the crossovers for installation. I purchased Kicker KSS50 Component Speakers from Crutchfield this past Christmas from there scratch and dent site for a decent price. The plan...

What did you do to your TJ today?

It's an interesting idea for sure. @wborisenok posted it last fall, so I checked them out and said why not. Hate paying to store stuff, but sometimes it's worth it. A business opportunity for you to start :D! I would hate to even see what they get for storage fee's in your area though.

What did you do to your TJ today?

These guys are coming Friday to take it off and store for the summer, for a fee of course. Maybe they have something like it on the West Coast . https://hardtophotel.com/ Tired of it taking up room in the garage and dealing with the possibility of breaking the rear window again.

    Boots

Thank you also for mentioning this. I have it on my right foot and wear out the liner in sneakers all the time. I try to find sneakers with a soft heel cup, makes a difference. My boots I brought to a cobbler and they worked the leather in the area I marked up. I don't care how they did it...

    Boots

That would make sense with the wedge design, they are definitely more comfortable. I wish I could have saved some of my joints. I have non OEM hips with a fused lower back (L4-S1), so I really pay attention to my work boots now. As others have said you will pay up front for a good pair of...

    Boots

I have the normal heel on the 2 pair I have and use the most. I have another pair of Thorogood square steel toes with the wedge sole that I like the soles a lot on the concrete. They are softer and will wear quicker but worth it in my case with my hips and back. The square toe not really a...

    Boots

FYI if you don't already know. Thorogood offers a reconditioning and resoling service for there boots. If I remember it was around $125, I paid $90 a year ago for a local cobbler to do mine around here. Not many cobblers around anymore.

    Boots

I have 2 pairs of Thorogood (round toe) USA made steel toe boots that are over 8 years old at this point. One pair is on it's 3 sole replacement, the other on it's second. They are worn every day at work, so they get a lot of use. Bad part they no longer make this model, they have a newer...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Mine were delivered yesterday :) Is there a specific brand kit everybody is using for installing seat heaters? Might as well add them while it's apart.
