I've been looking into CPO 4Runners to replace my Frontier, but with many dealerships choking on stock and some closing up short-term, there might be some pretty good deals on new vehicles soon.
USGS has a great earthquake map. We even get them here from the New Madrid fault. I've experienced a 4.0 and it was enough to send vibrations through the bed.
Optimistic as well, but I would definitely wait a couple of years for the bugs to be worked out. For me, IFS is not an issue because I never lift my vehicles more than a couple of inches.
