Yeah, it is my thoughts as well. I am going to inspect it really well. I definitely don't want to dump a bunch of money into something that is just going to rust away. I am not in a hurry to purchase one, I would rather find something I don't have to fight rust on.

It is a 2004. Not sure on the age of the tires and I am not overly concerned as I will be swapping the tires/wheels out. Thanks for the info!

I previously had a TJ but sold it. We are now looking to get another Jeep and an acquaintance in my home town has an LJ he would consider selling. I would like to slowly build the Jeep out and make it my own. What do you guys think of it? What would be a reasonable price?

I have had no problems at all from removing the carpet. I am sure it is a little more noisy but it hasn't bothered us at all. That would be great, I would rather have the CD as opposed to cassette but its not a deal breaker either way. As long as the face isn't beat up, I will take it. Just let me know what shipping is.

I would definitely be interested, not sure when I can get to Haubstadt though. I have been there many times, ran a Modified and Late Model for quite a few years and Tri-State was always my favorite place to race.
