I finally finished installing the bulkhead I made.

TJ doesn't have factory fogs, but might have the wiring harness

Who knows what the factory may have done or what may have been changed in the 20 years since, but according to the 2000-2001 FSM, front fogs used 2 black relays, while the rear fogs used the single green relay.

TJ doesn't have factory fogs, but might have the wiring harness

You should be able to tell something by looking at the switch connectors. Both front (black) and rear (white) fog switch connectors have 4 wires and use the same color wire but are wired slightly different. The rear defogger switch connector should be gray with 4 wires. The rear wiper/washer...

TJ doesn't have factory fogs, but might have the wiring harness

Your first post didn't mention that the plug was white (you may have mentioned the color in another thread). A white plug would likely indicate wiring for rear fog lamp.

TJ doesn't have factory fogs, but might have the wiring harness

I wonder if you have an export version. Is the wiring harness connector at the factory blank black or white?

TJ doesn't have factory fogs, but might have the wiring harness

If it is in the area behind the glove box near the fuse box, it is most likely for a rear fog lamp. You could check the wiring color to be sure.

Sierra Offroad 2003-2006 TJ Wrangler Soft Top Review

I liked our Sierra top as well. Probably louder than a Bestop but the only real problems we had were the rear window zipper failing and the rear window fading. Would consider another if we weren't going with a frameless top.

Ever had your Jeep get ducked?

Yeah, I do it because it makes my wife happy. She gets so happy when she sees the faces of others light up when they get their duck. All for the low low price of some rubber ducks, someone with social anxiety is able to be social with a childlike delight. She is my heart and my saving grace...

Really need help with hvac and unknown wires

It is difficult to tell from the melted plug, but where was it plugged into and how many wires? If it is the blower motor control (fan speed), the repair kit is Mopar 68080536AA. Melting would then likely have been caused by a failing blower motor, possibly the reason for the failing existing...

What did you do to your TJ today?

I don't know if it is because I'm old now or because I was young long ago, but LED headlights seem to be hard on my eyes. I did a Hella H4 upgrade a few years ago, but the cheap eBay harness I bought then has recently started shorting out. I purchased the Toyota Koito conversion kit mainly for...

What did you do to your TJ today?

That is really neat. It reminded me that back in the day, I had to take a class to be certified on how to properly use a Maglite as a weapon. It was a whole lot easier to carry than a PR-24. I'm glad to say though that in 25 years of service, I never had to use it as such.

Help with wiring schematic for auxiliary reverse lights

Yes. Forum member electricwizards posted how to do just that: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/electricwizards-2000-tj-sport-build.14165/post-336835 The momentary defroster switch sends a signal to a timer relay in the instrument cluster. You could of course wire one to a relay of your...
