How-to add Bluetooth to your OEM radio

It's been a while, and I have actually sold my TJ as I had to leave Australia, but thought you may still benefit from this. I actually made this mod even better by soldering a mic to the Bluetooth module so that I could use it to make and receive calls. Do you see the two extra holes between...

Cracked radiator (I'm stuck in the Australian outback)

Just another update- I made it to Melbourne, after traveling 9000 kilometers! So far I have about 8000 kilometers on the new cooling system and it's solid! I'm very happy with how it all turned out. The TJ is soooo easy to work on, plenty of space and it all makes sense.

Cracked radiator (I'm stuck in the Australian outback)

Today, 12 days later, all the parts arrived, took me 3 hours to change the radiator thermostat and hoses. The radiator indeed had mirrored mounts, so I just used the old ones. Also, the coolant return hose was not identical to the original and didn't fit properly so I just used the old one...

Cracked radiator (I'm stuck in the Australian outback)

I ended up ordering the genuine radiator form the second link. I think the mounts will be wrong but I can just use the old ones. Crossing my fingers it all goes well because i'm in a small town in the middle of nowhere sitting and waiting for the parts

Cracked radiator (I'm stuck in the Australian outback)

Is there no difference between the mounting brackets of the radiator with right hand drive or left hand drive cars? Would there be any other differences?

Cracked radiator (I'm stuck in the Australian outback)

Hey everyone. Long story short, I have a 2005 4L manual TJ and the radiator cracked (in the top plastic section near the cap) while on a trail in Australia. I managed to get to the nearest town without going past 115c (240f) for about 20 minuets, hope that's not too bad. So, I need a new...

How-to add Bluetooth to your OEM radio

It's not the same quality, FM is limited with the amount of data it can broadcast. so CD is technically better quality. It might not be noticeable though, which can make these transmitters a decent option.

Can an aftermarket front bumper prevent this kind of damage?

I would go as far as saying that crashing with an aftermarket bumper is even more dangerous then without one. Cars are built to crumble in a crash to absorb energy and slow down the rate of deceleration. When you have a heavy duty bumper connected straight to the frame the hit will be way harder.

How-to add Bluetooth to your OEM radio

Schwifty, not sure how your wiring is and if there is a more efficient way of doing it, but you can easily use the aux cable to connect to a bluetooth module. Either buy a different module that come with aux input, or solder one to the module I linked. It's pretty simple.

How-to add Bluetooth to your OEM radio

I would assume the PCB is different, but the logic is the same- find where L and R are coming from the signal source, cut the line and connect your L and R signal lines
