    I had the rust on the frame taken care of, but the shop wanted a rather large amount to replace the skid plate. I've replaced the transmission this year, and I'm low on surplus funds.

    Rebuilding my jeep on the cheap. Was told skid plate for the transfer case/transmission (?) needs replacing. Any recommendations for a decent and inexpensive one? No plans to offroad. Mostly my fun/commuter vehicle.

    Changed the headlights, swore at it. Changed them again. Swore some more.

    Help me stop the gremlins

    After spending WAY too much time upgrading the stock headlights to KC Hilites, my right turn signal indicator won't shut off on the dash. When i actually turn on the indicator, it goes nuts. I did a walk around, and none of my lights are out. What could be causing this?

    Dropped it off to have rotting sections of the frame cut out and replaced.

    Jeep Wrangler TJ 42RLE automatic transmission problems

    Hmmm. Patriot Blue as well. On my second transmission. Had to replace my pcm after install. Now, when i cold start my jeep, it takes a few minutes before i can shift out of park. Is it a color based problem? :LOL:

    Help with Code P0846

    Judt got my jeep back from transmission shop, and i had the check engine light come on. Plugged in a scanner that read P0846. Something about the transmission sensor. Any ideas on how to diagnose this before I have to drop it back off?

    I’m just going to check craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a replacement. The rear seats seem to come up frequently.
