For us old guys with BPH (trouble peeing)

Oddly enough, I had the Urolift procedure in January as well, done in Dubai (GPTA great penises think alike). A proud owner of a new lift kit. I had the very same issue, and the results were nothing short of amazing. It was a game changer. There is another procedure (can't recall the name)...

Has Quadratec gone out of business?

Hailey from Quadratec is fixing this for me. Not sure where the SNAFU was, but I suspect the mail hub in Bahrain.

Thanks Hailey, you have always come through for me.

Has Quadratec gone out of business?

I ordered a lift kit for a friend here in Dubai back in November along with other parts. I can no longer view my transactions on their website and they are closed every time I call according to their robot. I can't recall the young lady's name who frequents this site. Anyone know? I know, I...

Shop Wants To Replace Differential Assembly

God is telling you to buy a press, re-gear, refurbish (clutches as well if applicable), and get stronger axles. It is not wise to ignore a powerful deity. Do you have a friend that can help? You can buy all the parts, tools, and upgrades for less and have the tools left over for years of joy.

Could it be anything besides the heater core?

Worthy of note, when checking the cooling system, go ahead and install a new Hayden 2771 fan clutch if you haven't already done so. Simple job and it really makes a difference. Test the power at the horn and work backwards from there. If you have power there, the horn is kaput.

Low Oil Pressure (Not The Sensor)

These engines are reasonably forgiving and some here have some incredible amounts of miles on them. 160K is nothing. I wouldn't run ATF in it, but there are additives like Mystery oil which can help clean things up. Notice I said additive. If it is not knocking or protesting, it may not be...

Low Oil Pressure (Not The Sensor)

How many miles on your engine? If it was poorly maintained for a very long time, a rebuilt engine with a warranty is not a big job or that costly. Half of the fun of a TJ is lovingly refurbishing them.

    What happened to kids dating?

Dating young women after you are old and married gets a whole lot more complicated.

Could it be anything besides the heater core?

It sounds like it certainly is the core. Pulling the dash is not as bad as it sounds. My advice, replace the AC evaporator while you are in there. Use only top quality parts. Good time to thoroughly flush your cooling system and inspect/replace hoses, belt, pulleys, pump, Fan clutch, T-stat...

Happy New Year from the U.A.E.

VW, Good meeting you yesterday. You have a nice stock TJ that will be fun to maintain. An unmolested Jeep is quite desirable and will go anywhere in the sand a lifted Jeep will. The sand is mostly technique and experience, not height.

Happy New Year from the U.A.E.

You could try Abdullah @ 052-759-9433 He runs a scrapyard in Sharjah that is pretty nice. There is a TJ group here that is pretty helpful with parts & advice. If you are available tomorrow, we will be wrenching at my place in Sharjah and there should be a few TJ guys here. We rebuild our...

Happy New Year from the U.A.E.

Hello Old Friends, I have not been on the forum very much in the last year so I thought I’d give you an update. I have been deployed overseas for the last 25 years. 2020 looked like it was going to end my run/contract as DoD work was rapidly dwindling. Because of that I sold my TJ (could not...

    ZJ Tie Rod Conversion

BTW, I have had good luck with LubeLocker's re-usable diff gasket and Lucas 85/140 gear oil. I stick to the brand Spicer for ball joints and seals.

    ZJ Tie Rod Conversion

You have to pull the axles when you replace the ball joints. After that, remove the differential cover and remove the carrier assembly. Pay careful attention to position of the bearing caps. They are marked with a stamped letter for re-alignment. Also make sure to watch for the position of...
