This is correct. I have the M18 version and a buddy has the M12. The M18 is significantly faster. I usually do his 4th tire once mine are done. I am on 31" tires and can air up from 12/15 to 28psi about three times on a single 6Ah HO battery.

I got my clip on eBay.

I copied Jerry, but I have the big boy brackets, so I could only fit a 2.5lb extingusher. It sits on top of the hump instead of in front of it.

I went through this process a couple years ago. I could not find any new version that fit the hood, so I ended up getting a used one off eBay. I think they refer to them as "Early" TJ hoods. Like this one...

There are tools that do this, but they are usually vehicle specific. I have not seen one for a jeep.
