I've used jack stands with integrated bottle jacks on the front or rear tubes. Take each side up a little at a time. They're about 20 years old and i just replaced the jack portion on each stand. For higher lifting they can't be beat.

i had a similar issue showing 0700. it was a dirty connector next to the shift linkage that didn't look dirty but was. i sprayed Cramolin Red into the connector halves (small amount does wonders) and the code disappeared on it's own.
