I was replacing the belt on my TJ, and the cast steel block behind the power steering pump plate that the tensioner pulley bolts into split in half and I lost half of it somewhere. I looked at Rockauto and the part they listed was out of stock. I can't even find a picture of it. Anyone know...

I'm looking at doing this same swap. Mine is a 1997 with a 2.5 now and a manual. I'll stay manual for sure. Will I need a PCM from a 1997 truck or Durango to make my gauges work? Or should I just use two 2.5 PCM's and double the gauge read out to run the V8??? :ROFLMAO:

I've read on some of the threads on here, that it might have something to do with the fuel pump not holding the pressure in the fuel line when the engine is shut off. I believe it means a new fuel pump is needed, from what I remember reading

I'm not saying you should or shouldn't, but I haven't run one for the last two years on my tj, and I haven't noticed ANY difference in handling on the highway or city streets. I have not tried a comparison off roading. I just don't use it. I do use a front sway bar with quick disconnects. Doug

I think my sending unit is messed up because when my gauge get close to the red area at the bottom, it just drops to E. I see this tank mod in my future now. Thanks DER52
