These threads get so theoretical sometimes… OP wants to move on from an old long arm system , has the budget to do it right. Why not just reccomend a known quality system, I.e the savvy mid-arm and the outboarded fox racing remote resi shocks and be done?

I cooked at 245 +\- 10 degrees for most of the cook, then bumped it closer to 275 when it hit a second mini stall around 185 this morning. Lunch was closing in and had to get-er-done I’m with you, I see those hot and fast cooks online, but I’m always worried about drying it out

Been awhile since I posted on the build thread, moved down to South Carolina near Charlotte late last summer, as always, the jeep comes with. Spring is here, got the hoist installed and top off.

I ran the legacy version of that tire, the MTZ P3 when the jeep was on 33s, was great in Midwest wheeling conditions.

Charlotte is the big city, but also has two lakes (one north / south of city). great food options but be prepared for lots of traffic. Mountains 2 hrs away on the way towards Asheville.
