When you mention extended periods of idiling.. are you talking about like 5-10mph crawling in traffic kind of idling in the middle of the day? Sorry if this has been answered already I skipped around the thread as well. I'm in Houston and have never had any issues with my temp gauge climbing...

Yes given the typical (normal) wear and tear has held up pretty well. One thing I like about this method is it is always easy to touch things up but so far haven't had to do that yet.

I tend to be a 2nd lane driver at the most in my TJ. Let everyone else in the newer cars do their thing. Like others have said, it's the pickups and whatnot that will ride up your butt in a hurry despite what speed you're going. But what has irked me for awhile is people pulling up your ass...

Wouldn't the nail heads on the flashing alone be a potential water leak over time? Never see that on a rooftop especially going into shingles. At least put some kind of pooky on them.
