Did you ever get this resolved? I am helping a friend with P0344 and the 2.4L in a 2005. She had more codes to start with and we resolved some with sensors - map sensor and one with harness -MAT sensor. Now we only have one code but it still goes into limp mode with 344. Ohm check all wires...
