    Nut missing from motor mount

I was under my daughter’s 2006 X today and noticed the nut is missing on the bolt or stud that holds the motor mount to the frame. Anyone know what size it is? Thanks…. Johnny

Colorado My Jeep was stolen in Denver this morning

I’m sorry this happened to you. I hope you get it back unharmed and the thief is caught and neutered. Man alive, I hate me a thief.

It's TJ Day at the Office

That looks real good, but you all need some color to liven things up. I’m thinking a neon yellow ‘06 would do the trick!

2003 Jeep Wrangler Sahara nightmare (ECM or O2 sensors?)

Totally agree on the O2 sensors. It’s an electronic crapshoot where even the good ones can be bad. I replaced all four O2 sensors on my daughter’s 06 with MOPAR sensors, which I was told are made by NTK/NGK. Cleared codes and all was well for about three weeks and then it threw a code for Bank...

Changed OPDA but my camshaft gear has wear. Need a dose of reality.

My daughter and I did two, hers and mine, a couple of weeks ago. it’s very easy once you get the bolt broke free. Hers was very tight. Not a single issue other than that. It’s hard to go wrong if you use the plastic pin that comes with the new Crown unit to align the holes in the old one coming...

    Oil plug doesn’t come out

Will do. Gonna wait a bit, though. August in SE Texas is hotter than splatter grease. Maybe October. Hoping to get my grown daughter to come over and help. She’s a good helper in cooler weather, not so much when it’s hot. She‘s a Jeeper, drives an ‘06 X.

    Oil plug doesn’t come out

A few years ago I bought a 1955 Ford F-100 pickup in which the previous owner had installed a 460 V8 and C6 automatic. He had also installed a front frame clip with Twin I-Beam suspension and power steering. It was a hoot to drive, I tell ya what, but I’m getting off track. I guess he had...

    Oil plug doesn’t come out

No. I really don’t think there is a way. I’m gonna drop the pan and weld it. The plug hasn’t leaked a drop, but I don’t trust it. I want to fix it once, fix it right.

    Oil plug doesn’t come out

Thanks, fellas. An oil extractor would indeed work for a temporary work-around as long as the plug doesn’t start leaking. I really don’t trust the plug.

    Oil plug doesn’t come out

Not sure what else I could do to try to get it out. I think it’s there to stay untiI I drop the pan.

    Oil plug doesn’t come out

It’s stock height. Sounds like more work than I initially thought. I need to look for a how-to.
