Ok so alittle update, I brought it in to mechanic and they checked the sync and it was indeed off by about 7-10 degrees, we fine tuned it to as close to zero as possible. I will see how it runs the next solid drive I get in.

I didn't resync with scan tool from my understanding if the synchronizer is just noisy you only have to remove and put the new one back in the exact same position.
