My 97 TJ manual 4.0 shut off on me mid drive. I got a NO BUS on the odometer screen. Rolled to a stop. She started right back up. Now she sputters and takes me 5-10 tries to start. Used to always only take 2 tries. I just replaced the crankshaft position sensor. Still having the same issues...

Hi Jerry, how about on the rear pinion seal? My mechanic put a new seal on and it started leaking again within 2 days. I also have this issue going on with the pinion shaft which I suspect is the culprit, video of the wobble is attached. Thanks

Reporting back in...Transfer case stopped the noise when I replaced the Transmission mount. All is working for now...

thanks....I can feel the vibration with hand on T-case when on the lift...it goes away after about 5 minutes of driving around...only happens when the jeep has been sitting for a while and then started, like overnight.

Hi there...I am getting this noise from the transfer case...it started happening when one day I got in my TJ and 4H was engaged (wife swears she didn't pull the lever) I could not get it back into 2H without opening up the bolt on the linkage arm. am I not full engaged in 2H or do I have a TC...

working the same issue on my 97 tj sport. I have pulled the old broken cable and ran a thicker gauge bicycle cable. The manual release lever works perfect to fold and slide but when the passengers in the rear either pull the tab or button lever on the rear of the seat and the seat folds...it...
