Need the wisdom of the crowd. We picked up a ‘99 TJ for my son. All of the original seats are in great condition, with the exception of the drivers. It has the teat down the side that most of them seem to develop. Can I just replace the seat cover? If yes where can I get one? I tried...

Okay maybe a stupid question. Why are you replacing them? Finish or function? Bought my son a TJ recently and we”re preparing to repaint...they work fine. Anything I should know?

Ok so let me thread jack a bit if I may. It is on topic though I think. I have a 4cyl manual 99’ with standard 3.73(?) gearing. It has a 4” lift and 33’s.....would changing the gearing help me...and if so to what?

So I ordered all of the parts...the drag link and tie rod end didn’t come with boots/dust covers....what do I use? I don’t want to use the old ones. Google results on the topic didn’t yield any good answers.

Ok I ordered an OEM replacement pitman arm. On the drop bracket....if I remove that....where do I reconnect it? Where I took the bolt out that holds in the drop bracket?
