The two attachments on the left are singles, which made me think there are two pieces missing. Either way, they are in almost new shape.

SOLD Smitty Tactical Seat Cover (Pair)

I have a pair (2 covers, one shown in pics) of Smitty tactical seat covers. Not 100% sure all the attachments are on them, they came with my 2000 TJ when I got it. They seems to be in great shape, can't see anything wrong with them, they are just not my thing. Comes with what you see. $100...

That is true, they are ¼",they fit into the 6mmx1.0 threading on the tester in my garage and the hardware store. The ones that came in in the replacement were close but coarse threads. I don't remember the exact hole they fit in on the tester, but it was not the same.

Well, I looked and it was $3.99 - but you are saying they don't make any price stainless steel bolt that is rated for that.? I certainly don't want to endanger the passengers life.

It was a T50 with I didn't have to take it out and see the size. Got one of those and took it to local hardware for $1.99 stainless answer.

Exactly what I started doing! $1.49 for a stainless steel. I just didn't have the T50 to remove the drivers side bolt to find out the threading (7/16-20) by the way. The other 3 are (6mmx1.0)

So that was not the right one. These bolts threading was too fine, needed a coarse 5/16-18 and these were a fine thread. At least Amazon takes returns.

Sounds like we are in the same boat with mileage. I am also finding dirt in places you wonder how it got there on the interior. I good to clean her up to get her dirty again though.

    Eastwood frame paint

Question comes to mind. I am in California, so do I need to be as worried about getting into the frame rails? I can see the need to drill holes for drainage in case I do get deep in water. Not looking to shortcut, but seems like a lot of you guys know when it turns to winter by the snowy weather...

Thanks! And the crossmember above the gas tank is not something I've read yet. Thanks for that one too!

Gotcha! I didn't take it that way. I took it that it wasn't the route for you, and after reading that you work in the industry, I can understand why. Appreciate you guys spending the time to educate me on what works for you, and what your processes are or will be.

    Eastwood frame paint

I think with the Eastwood stuff I just fell victim to seeing it on the Jeep parts web site and thinking "it must be good if it's on their site". But I know what rust can do. It's like the cancer I had - all must be removed before the healing begins. What I have learned is rust is the cancer of...

    Eastwood frame paint

Seems like you do know a thing or two about rust chili_pepper. I just bought this TJ with a no rust frame. Just some minor surface that will come off with some sanding and a mild wire brushing. "Good enough" is not my MO, I am just very new to the Jeep world and learning daily. I want to look...
