SOLD GROM BT3 Blutooth for factory radio

No, mine worked good. Unlike the the Clarion which would not allow me to skip tracks unless i connected to the unit with spotify already open on my phone. And the one factory was a hack job of installing a bluetooth switch. I would hit bumps and you would hear feedback.

The units has been sold. Good luck with your first jeep! I still recommend the GROM unit

SOLD GROM BT3 Blutooth for factory radio

Yes, you can skip songs with the track buttons. I'll also point out that I purchased and installed a factory one radio, as well as the highly regarded clarion m508 receiver in my quest to add bluetooth. I returned both of them. The GROM is by far the highest quality and most usable set up.

SOLD GROM BT3 Blutooth for factory radio

I limitation is in the factory head unit. It was never designed to have a string of alpha-numeric characters displayed across the whole screen.

No, it just displays track numbers like a CD would.

SOLD GROM BT3 Blutooth for factory radio

I have a Grom Audio BT3 unit that plugs into the back of a factory jeep radio and allows you to control the Bluetooth with the stock head unit. Also has microphone for hands free calling. Works great, I bought this about 6 months ago and pulled it out when I sold my 2005 Wrangler. $100

    Tough to diagnose ticking noise

Beaufrusetta, what transmission do you have? Is the oil pan the only thing you changed, or did you do a rear main seal? Makes me wonder if something you did while changing the oil pan caused the noise, or if you just started paying more attention since you had just done work to it.

So do the NSG370 6 speeds, and probably all manuals to some extent. Its just the input shaft bearings spinning freely.

Is yours an auto or manual?

That's Interesting that you've heard yours all the way down to idle. I've tried to replicate mine in every situation imaginable, and it only does it when I'm at 1800 rpm or more. While it becomes harder to detect at like 2800 rpm +, it definitely is still happening, it just blends together...

    Tough to diagnose ticking noise

I too wanna know the answer to this. Anyone know of any inexpensive roller rocker sets? Or know someone with a set installed that is still experiencing this problem? I was playing with mine today while in line at a drive through with the window down. I could hear it echo off the wall really...

    Tough to diagnose ticking noise

I got my rockers in earlier than expected so I pulled off the old ones to check them out. Unfortunately (or fortunately maybe?) all the rockers looked nice and evenly wearing, with no abnormal signs that might cause a tick. The pushrods were also nice and straight with no mushrooming. I was...

Thanks for reporting back. Unfortunately I don't think swapping oils in going to fix it. I ordered some rocker arms and pushrods and plan to change them out over Thanksgiving break. I'll let you all know if it solves the problem.

    Tough to diagnose ticking noise

I found a slight leak at my pre-cat joint when doing the soapy water test with a shop vac. I put some sealer on it to get it 100% sealed and it didnt help the noise. Even though they might have a slight leak, I don't think it's responsible for the noise.

    Tough to diagnose ticking noise

Well, I guess we now know it's not just the 05-06 wranglers. That makes me feel better. I got a chance to probe the starter with a stethoscope while the engine was ticking and unfortunately it was clearly not the cause, it was significantly quieter than the bell housing or engine block.
