    the upper ranch is 800 acres and 24 miles of trails and the lower ranch is 1500 acres, the rest of the 6800 acres is designated for dirt bikes/quads. its a good mix of easy fire roads and technical obstacles

    Had a free Sunday so loaded up the family and did a day trip to Hollister, it was a good day , a little crowded but it was mostly overlanders I guess because the fire roads were busy and all the obstacles were empty

    So after 3 long weeks of waiting I finally received the XJ style bearing retainers and pressed everything back together I swung The axle back under the Jeep. It went in pretty easily and I’m happy with how everything lined up

    I’m still waiting on the correct bearing retainers, hopefully sometime next week.They aren’t very common and were a little diff to find. I found the ones that came with the axle they have a bevel for disk brakes. So I’ll wait for the flat ones. I painted everything and got a few new drum brake...

    I redrilled the backing plates and everything seems to fit together ok. I’m going to try to press off the bearings and collar so I can reuse them, I’m also still trying to find the XJ Dana 44 bearing retainer plates or I’ll end up drilling the regular tj ones I have now

    No they have a different bolt pattern at the axle ends So the seal retainer won’t Bolt up that’s my whole problem
