Sunday wheelin ended up with this: broken rear left axle (Dana 35) ! Sounds strange for a 4.0L with 2inches lift and 31” Cooper tires (lsd rear). It happened on a long climb on light/medium rocks with 4 people and bags inside. No bouncing, no full throttle, just heavy load and not the best grip...

Super agree, that's the really important thing. Also a place where he can sit safe in case of accidents is a must to have in mind.

After found a big crack in the exhaust manifold (4.0L 1998) I decided to upgrade the exhaust line with: Replacing the manifold with a new one, with flexible joints; New bolts set & Fel-Pro gasket Wrapping the manifold with a really good quality Aeroflow exhaust wrap to reduce heat up to 70%...

@SkylinesSuck same problem, just took off a cracked manifold, inox with flex joints. What's your replacement? I'm looking for the best in term of longevity can you post a pic of yours or link? Thank you!!

Ahahah not mine, it’s bi-fuel, so zero emissions too (and zero bad smell when going top down!). I have 2 fuel tanks so, one for the gasoline (factory) and other 40+ litres for the gpl 😊😊😊 Rome city laws are very stricts in order to keep pollution levels low.

I was talking about the full scale value, the EU version of the speedo has higher Vmax !

And same terrible gear ratio ! ..Keeping wondering why EU speedos in km/h are faster btw :rolleyes:

Easy in 5th gear but all stock. 4.0 with the horrible 3.07 ratio.. just a try with nobody around. Hardtop's whistles keep me company more than the radio music :LOL:
