    03-06 TJ seats in a 97-02 TJ?

Thanks for the info, I think I might still go through the installation and document it. So far the front to bracket mounts line perfectly, but there are no holes in the back for the rear brackets so I will have to drill through the tub or use a steel flat rod and mount on the middle seatbelt...

    03-06 TJ seats in a 97-02 TJ?

Sorry to resurface this thread, but I just bought an 03-06 rear seat from Craigslist and seems that I will need to drill the anchors on my '00 TJ's tub as the rear seat mechanism is different. has anyone being successful at doing so? The 97-02 tub does not have the same holes as the 03-06 tub...

Are both of these PCV valves?

Does anyone have the Dorman or MOPAR part number for this hose (red arrow)? I got a new elbow and grommet, but the previous owner tired to fix it and glued the elbow to the hose, so I now also have to get a hose.

What gear ratio should I go with?

@Jerry Bransford I was also looking at the 33's from a Jeep Gladiator, for about $1K with only 500 miles on them. Looks very tempting since I had 33's PROComp on my previous TJ and I loved the body to tire ratio looked a lot better proportionally, so I could just get some spacers to fit the new...

What gear ratio should I go with?

Thank you everyone for the help and info! I called a few shops but man they were busy and I was on hold for a while. One of the shops quoted me $650 for the 30/35 4.88 gear set, and $1200 for labor, which I think is about normal for Colorado prices. Another shop quoted $2600 total. The shop...

What gear ratio should I go with?

I sold my 2000 2.5L manual and purchased a fully decked (cosmetic stuff ) 2000 4.0L auto (I wanted a manual, but my wife now can also drive it and it has the inline 6 I wanted) Looks like the previous owner keep it in good shape but only did cosmetic changes, like road armor front and rear...

Zone 3” lift kit on ‘00 TJ SE questions

I really like it too, I thought 31”s were going to look too small, and I bought a set of 32x10.5R15 KO2 but I haven’t installed them yet. I will look into the Goodyear Duratracks as the KO2 were pricey and since I haven’t installed them I can return them and keep looking around.

What size are the steering box bolts?

Yes, they do stick out about 3/8 out of the frame, my guess is that they were not the original bolts, or they were so rusted that the thread was busted and they weren't going far enough. Also I wasn't aware they originally they came with the end unthreaded, I thought they had damaged the thread...

What size are the steering box bolts?

The previous owner of my TJ installed a tow bar and I decided to take it off due to weight and looks plus it was getting rusty. To make the long story short, the steering box uses three bolts, one of them is completely missing the head and the other two were in horrible shape and they need to be...

Zone 3” lift kit on ‘00 TJ SE questions

I feel like it would look goofy with too much spacing between the fenders and tire, also seems that it's a lot of pain to go to a 3" lift for not tire size gain and changing geometry, having to get new adjustable arms, drop the transfercase, SYE, blah, blah, blah, not to mention higher center of...
