Frame is the lifeblood of the Jeep. Everything else is salvageable, within reason. A "rusting/rotting" frame" is not, at least in terms of a financial perspective. So you could be looking at a part-out, or if you're talking about a little light surface rust, possibly a pretty nice TJ.

I love this series too. It's a true, hardcore wheeling series with no holds barred and no apologies for not really giving a @#% about the scenery. Hey, I love beautiful trails too, but show me awesome rigs doing crazy stuff, please. Chances of me attempting a trail like that in my lifetime...

My TJ had el-cheapo chinese LEDs on it when I purchased it, 'til earlier this year when I got fed up with other drivers flashing me for having my high beams on (when they weren't). Ordered a set of KC Gravity LEDs and I get nice clean light where it should be. Problem with those chinese lights...

I should add, I'm trying to avoid ultra-tame trails which aren't challenging. I rented in Estes Park once and the trails were fun with some water crossings but the obstacles were extremely mild. (Then again, those Jeeps didn't have lockers.)
