Just to answer what that metal part is, that is your timing indicator.

Just a couple of thoughts for those doing this work. 1 - Perfect time to install seat heaters, you are doing the work anyway. 2 - Perfect time to clean your seat covers, I ran mine through the washer, and they came out great.

Give the battery cables a good inspection. You can have proper voltage, but corrosion can prevent amperage. If you jump the starter solenoid, does it crank? Make sure it is neutral when you do this, I am sure you know, but just saying.

Is it the correct locker for your gear set? Lowest gear you want to run is a 3.92?

This. But since you have a manual, just drive it in a lower gear that keeps your rpm up between 2500 and 3k.

What gear ratio do you want? You need that Dana 44 if you want 5.38's.

What is the difference between axle fluids and differential oil? I don't see brake fluid flush. Just a few other thoughts off the top of my head. Washer fluid? Wiper blades? Brake pad inspection? Tire rotation? Check of external lights? U-joint inspection?

Battery let me down yesterday. Had to jump the jeep to start it. Not playing that game. Alt is charging just fine. Bent over, and paid way too much for a new AGM battery. Damn. Jeep starts way better, and some of my electrical issues seems to gone away. Haven't reconnected the winch yet...

What pressure do you run on your spare? I keep 8 psi in my spare, as I expect I will most likely need it on the trail, and don't want to muck with airing it down. I do have OBA, so airing up is not an issue. What psi do you run, and why? CO2 guys, do you run a full pressure tire for a spare?
