What you have circled is the TV or throttle valve cable. It is used for 97-02 TJs with the 32rh automatic transmission. Fun fact, your 2006 also has the intake air temp sensor in a different location than 2004 and earlier.

That atf is contaminated with water. Maybe check the tc vent and see how it is routed and if it is missing the cap.

How did the coil test out? Free, just a few minutes with a meter. This will let us know if there is a weak spark on start up.

Go to the junkyard and see what you can find. Probably going to be in similar shape as your original, but better than nothing. XJs or WJs should have something that will work and are usually more available than wranglers.

Can you test your coil? From what I have read, a weak coil could cause the symptoms, but I really don't know. Testing values And did I hear a bunch of radio whine when you started it in the video?

Either it is a dikfer, or it is a vent for the front differential that normally mounts on the radiator support.
