    Steering Play

Any way to eliminate an alignment? I don’t see how toe or caster could effect this. My return to center is good and no vibes.

    Steering Play

@Lou sent me a video of his free play. That’s where it gets interesting, his free play is almost identical to mine based on what I can tell. Yes, the dead spot makes it difficult keep in the land while transitioning back and forth in corners (from left to right, vise versa).

    Steering Play

Turning the shaft by hand (back and forth) above the box ensured the box wasn’t turning the sector shaft. I’m at the point I’m 99.9% sure it’s the box. I’m hoping someone with a new/aftermarket box can relate or describe the amount of play they have for me to compare to. Best way to describe...

    Steering Play

I will look more into this but the two halves rotate together. I held one in each hand while someone turned the wheel back and forth and there wasn’t play between the two halves.

    Steering Play

I’ve been trying to pin point the play in my steering for a while. Completed numerous steering tests. No play in ball joints, unit bearings, trac bar and so on. The two last possible things I can think of is 1.) the steering box 2.) the steering shaft. This video is the free play at the...

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

Late to reply but hopefully you ordered something like this. There's no need for the small fittings, they make the lines just like you need with the correct fittings. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-657310

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

Having trouble finding my order history/transaction. You need one end that’s female (3/8 i believe it is) the other end is a banjo. I can’t recall if it was Russell or Earls brand but either way both are within a dollar or two of each other. Here you can see one end. The other is just a banjo...

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

That’s high $$$$. (2) -3 AN lines would be maybe $50. The -3 AN lines have so many options, it’s a direct bolt on, nothing to dive into. I had to change my yj lines due to the same issue as well as rubbing the shock body.

At what height should I measure to relocate the rear upper coil spring mount?

Flip the left to right side and vise versa. Trim what is required.

The plastic rings on the hose will rub the coating/finish off your shocks.

    Timken Warranty Process

I will be checking the torque with a factory stub shaft as @mrblaine mention. Just to follow up on the warranty, Amazon is not an authorized dealer for Timken. For this reason they will not warranty Timken products sold by Amazon.
