Thanks! Seems lately that we're taking one step forward and two backward. We were filling up the radiator the other day and a student noticed a leak....he went to investigate the source and found the plastic bottom of the rad was cracked....somebody must have dropped it because it was holding...

I've never bought new rims and tires for any car I've ever owned but the TJ is definitely getting new rims and tires.....only problem is that I don't really know what I want. Any ideas as to rubber and rims would be welcome. Thanks again.

Thanks! Students definitely had a great time building this thing!! A good number of students that have graduated have kept in touch and are patiently waiting for the shakedown trials.....they want to be present for the first run.

Wipers, power steering, tranny cooling all done. Seats are in, lower rad hose is also in. Pretty much all that is left to do is heater core plumbing, upper rad hose, intercooler plumbing, hood and mounting of the cabin fuse box. Drive shafts have to be made from scratch so will have to trailer...

Awesome job! You have way more patience that I do dialing in the turbo and fuel like that!! Unreal. And how you crammed all that hardware under the hood!? Great job....I'm very impressed ......

Ran into a little problem with power steering plumbing...thought we could just join two halves of the power steering pressure line (steering box half from a TJ and the pump half from a Liberty) with a brass compression union. Turns out we can’t because the two halves have different steel line...

How’s things going with your diesel swap?

I have about 7 thousand into the project so far...have had a few people already asking me if I would be interested in selling it. It would take an awful lot for me to part with it. I can’t wait to drive it...it’s all mine!

Super excited to be back in the Auto shop in face to face classes. We hope to finish most of the work on the Jeep before the middle of November when the term ends. Over the summer I gave the intercooler to a real good friend of mine along with a couple aluminium elbows. the in and out ports...

Thanks, it's a Dodge/Jeep color....called Hydro Blue.....only change we made was the shine....added flattening agent to the clear coat......will have to be re-cleared once it's finished because the various body parts and tub were painted at different times and my brother didn't write down the...
