Is OEM still best for radiator?

My original OEM lasted 20 years. I replaced it with another Mopar unit, unfortunately just had to replace it after 6 years due to leaking at the seams a considerable amount. Wasn’t able to find another mopar for a reasonable price so I bought a denso. I guess we’ll see how that goes but my...

    2005 Rubicon Lockers

In my Rubicon that I recently sold, I ran it for 10+ years with factory lockers on 35s on some of the toughest trails on the west coast. Including most of the popular "Jeep rated" trails at Johnson valley. Not once did I have a hiccup with them. I always made it a point to lock the rear on any...

    Evap Leak Assistance

I smoke tested it again for a good while, double checked those fittings on top of the tank as those broke on a previous Jeep I had, all good there. Also wanted to clarify it's actually a P0457 I'm getting. The only place i am getting smoke is from the leak detection pump filter from the...

    Evap Leak Assistance

Guess I celebrated too soon, Now I have a P0452 that won't go away. I replaced the gas cap again just to try but no dice. I had already smoke tested it back in December when I originally posted it and there was no leaks. I can smoke test it again but doubt that's my issue. Anywhere else I...

Replaced the LDP and have run a few tanks through it now. Seems to be working as it should and no CEL. Thanks for all the advice, hopefully this helps someone later.

    Evap Leak Assistance

Thanks, The gas cap is new so unfortunately i didn't get that lucky. The evap canister from the outside looks OK, no damage or anything. Not sure what other variables there are to look for. I went ahead and gambled on it being the LDP, i swapped it out today. Fingers crossed that it works.

    Evap Leak Assistance

Hi All, I'm trying to diagnose a P0440, P0455, P0456 codes that I am getting on my 2005 LJ, I started with the purge valve, which appears to be functioning as it should. Next I hooked up a smoke machine to the line coming out of the bottom of the purge valve (the one that goes back to the...

    Evap Fitting on Gas Tank

I like both ideas, I havent been able to find a brass fitting that is small enough to screw into the hole, its pretty small. I do have some brake line laying around, maybe I can JB weld some of that in the hole and try to macgyver some way to attach the hose to the brakeline so it doesent leak.

    Evap Fitting on Gas Tank

Hello all, 2005 TJ, After years of dealing with a small evap leak, i finally decided to smoke test my evap system Found it pretty quickly, was leaking from a fitting on the fuel tank. I tried to remove the hose but the white piece on the tank was so brittle it just snapped. Woops. Im really...

California Anyone from SoCal willing to let me tag along as a passenger in their mid-arm built TJ on 35s?

I’ve had this setup for a while, it’s pretty good but i really would like some better climbing ability. Lol this is true, To be honest i just don’t really trust myself hacking into the frame for the associated outboard and welding everything in good. I know there are a lot of resources but I...

California Anyone from SoCal willing to let me tag along as a passenger in their mid-arm built TJ on 35s?

Bummer to read that about the instructions, part of the reason I wanted this kit was because I thought it came with them. Makes me second guess if i would want to tackle this project with my less then awesome fabrication skills. Lol.
