Thanks all. Decided on the Ranchos. Couldn’t justify the cost of he Fox shocks since the plan is to sell the TJ and move up to a 4 door in the rather near future. The reviews on the Rancho shocks were great given the cost. We’ll see!

Replacing the worn shocks on my 2004 TJ Rubicon (3” lift). Recommendations? The sky is not the limit, but I’m willing to pay more if they’re worth it. Mostly paved road , but also play on the rocks.

Oh I agree. Just don’t want something I have to set up and pack away. I do a lot of camping in the rain and snow. I like the hard side and, as I’m getting older, I like the idea of a little heat on those cold nights/mornings! Plus i want something that is off road capable.

They are sweet! Decked out with all the extras puts it just order 30k. That’s the other issue! 😉

Thinking of the Escopod. But says with typical add ons it’s around 1900lbs. Not much leeway for the 2000 lb capacity of a TJ. But they sure are nice. Anyone have experience with them on a TJ...

Well, the throwout bearing went out in my 2004 TJ Rubicon. Obviously, I will be replacing the entire clutch system. Is OEM OK for clutch replacement? Or, is there an aftermarket product that would be better? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
