Hi! My name is Alex, and I have a 1999 TJ sport named Sally. She's getting a little tired after 190K miles and has a lot of worn-out parts that need replacing, but at the end of the day she gets me from point A to point B, My end plan for Sally is an offroad capable daily driver.
Performance: Once I'm done building her up she's going to have ground-up restoration, a 4.6 stroker, a 4" suspension lift (the good type), 33" tires, undercarriage skid plates, a flat belly skid plate, upgraded stock axles(yes the 35), body armor(painted to match), lunchbox lockers front and rear, a recovery winch and gear, and any supporting mods I might need.
Appearance/Comfort: overall I'm going to keep my Jeep stock appearing so I'll be keeping the stock bumpers with some minor mods like a winch plate and some metal end caps, stock-appearing LED headlights, stock side steps, and stock-appearing fender flairs. I may get a hard top but that depends on if I can't get the soft top to be quieter. onto comfort, I want to insulate, sound deaden, and bed-coat the inside of the tub, all under some new carpet. seat covers are a must if I want to keep my seats looking new. Powered locks just for convenience, bus-style half doors, and a short throw gated shifter.
