My cousin has the Garmin In Reach, definitely worth the investment but last summer we found outselves on the trail where it couldnt get a call out. Thankfully wasnt an emergency situation just trying to communicate with a group that was late to the trail.

Nothing wrong with wheel spacers as long as you buy good quality and keep up with routine torque checks. Personally if the tires fit without them I see no need to run them purely for aesthetics

Neither, I’m just passing along what I’ve heard from others. Personally I prefer to stick to the big name brands but given the op is only looking the run 31’s I felt they’re a good option. I know there is a big divide when it comes to these tires but every complain I see is from hardcore rock...

They’re a good option, tight center tread is supposed to be smooth and quiet on the highway, shoulder lugs are nice and aggressive and they pretty light so you wont take too much of a performance hit

3-400 mile range will do any trail in the country, sure you’ have to stop somewhere to charge for 1/2 hour before going home but it’s still got the range needed to go offroad… not that I’ll be buying an EV anytime soon
