Towing TJ with removed transfer case?

If it's getting flatbed towed the areas of concern would be getting it on and off the trailer. I would strap up the transmission with wrachet straps and temporarily reinstall the skid plate

    HVAC fan won't blow

You will need to replace both the resistor and blower motor. The fan going out likes to melt the connector that goes to the resistor, so make sure you inspect that carefully

    Rear bumper with hitch

The LOD is another option, but it does come in at 60 lbs

    Rear bumper with hitch

That's kind of what I'm seeing, likely will end up getting it unless I find a better option

    Rear bumper with hitch

Looking into options to replace my fat rear Chinese Bumper. Requirements are: - Full width so that it extends to the corners of the tub (purely for esthetics) - A hitch so that I can mount a bike rack. - maximize ground clearance - Remain somewhat lightweight - Be of good build quality...

    Fuel tank: stock or upgrade?

I would figure out what your end goal is with your build. A GR gas tank is a lot of money, but if you plan to stretch it might make sense to do it now. My recommendation would be to find a used tank from a wrecked jeep/ or on marketplace and do the GR if/when you do a stretch down the road

    ARB Bulkhead Fitting Recomendations?

I had arb locker installed when I got the axles regeared, the shop put them in at with the 90s. When I installed the Savvy midarm I switched to having them come straight out the top, I don't think it makes a performance deference, the main reason would be to have the line run as cleanly as...

Heater core doesn't fit. Different parts for same year?

The one I got from orielys required a bit of working to get it to fit, but that appears to have the bend in the wrong location.

Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Picture of the steel corners for reference. Aluminum corners are from jerrys install guide, as can be seen they are noticeable thicker and have the countersunk holes

Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

I'm taking about the hardcore upgrade which are steel bumpers for the corners, the old style which was made of aluminum had countersunk holes which allowed a flush bolt. The steel ones are also thinner than the aluminum ones. What I received was 2 steel corner guards with straight holes and no...

Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Yes, mine are made of steel. I don't have a way to measure them, but they do feel relatively heavy. Them not countersunking the holes is very odd and honestly makes very little sense as that would cause there to be bolts sticking out of the front of the bumper making it a non slip surface. I'll...

Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Reached to savvy asking about when they would have bumpers available again. Gerald replied that the should have more this month but said they had 1 available if I wanted it. Needless to say I am now the owner of a front bumper. Questions: I also ordered the "new" hard core upgrade, however it...

    Fuel Tank Skid Plate

Look into getting a later year tj skid, they are better built than the early year ones. With a body life you can move the skid up 1" with some welding work

No sound after heater core swap

I got it working again. I think your original idea was right, I disconnect thr section, blow it out and plugged it back in, power cycled a few times then it started working, likely was pulled out just enough that it wasn't connected. Thanks for the help

No sound after heater core swap

Doesn't appear that the antenna is the issue, I double checked the connection and verified that the radio was able to change between stations and pick up the song/artist information
