Let's see your vinyl wrapped TJs!

I'm actually pretty keen to wrap mine in a Matt White. Kind of as a protective coating while wheeling. It really wouldn't be too hard, they are all flat surfaces! The only tricky parts being hinges. Much cheaper than a respray.

    TJs in beautiful places

New shoes are amazing. Yet to put them to solid work but super happy. Defo need to lift, or at least get more wheel clearance now though.

    What tires are you running?

Thanks. Aiming for the classic look, maybe with a baja type twist as I spend so much time up the beaches. Rims are from magwarehouse and cost my little finger. Tyres were a deal with beaurepairs, 3 and 1 free.

    What tires are you running?

So, I caved in and got a tried and tested wheel tyre combo. 265/70r16 Duratracs on 16x8 mickeythompson classics. With stock ride height looks a lil tight but works fine so far.

    What tires are you running?

I'm actually not sure. You'd think a decent tyre guy would refuse to mount these monsters what the rule. Either way, I knew these were crap when I bought the jeep. Will replace with some 31s ATs and I've a set of 33 muds to fall back on when I get a lift.

    What tires are you running?

These came wit h the jeep when bought. Had a slight vibration coming on. Thought it might be mud or thrown a weight. But then on one trip up the mway it just decided to shred itself. Stayed inflated thanks to the steel belting. Now I'm tyre shopping. Fun times.

    What tires are you running?

One thing I do know... don't run old tyres...

    What tires are you running?

Yeah my dilemma is the distances I drive before wheeling... makes for plenty of highway time. And I do more driving on sand than mud so ATs are the likely go.

    What tires are you running?

This threads great as I'm on the market for some ATs. And yes, ko2 and duratecs are far too pricey here. Interested to know what other tyre options people are running..?

    TJs in beautiful places

Thanks. Actually my girlfriend took this shot. But it's kinda easy when surrounded by the natural beauty of NZ. This read really does have the best photos of jeeps and landscapes! Such epic wheeling to do over in the states! Sent from my HTC_0P6B using Tapatalk
