    Message from Gerald at Savvy

I am still trying to get a Savvy front bumper for my LJ and I ve been messaging Gerald every few months on the WHEN. His latest message says a NEW design is forth coming... Take this with a grain of salt as he has been saying anytime now for a year. last 2 messages below FROM: Gerald Lee...

Am I the only one who thinks a snorkel on a TJ is crazy?

The Hauk River Raider was the best design. I was gonna get one but I didn't before he robbed everyone and went out of business. 1. I liked the LOOK of it. 2. my main focus was trying to eliminate 160* + air intake temps!! A snorkel may not benefit cleaner air if you are traveling in a...

Oil pressure works after oil change

Easiest way to clean your engine.... Every couple years put a half quart of Diesel fuel in your oil. Start it and let it idle only long enough for the oil to warm up (don't drive it). When you dump the oil it will be black as a tire and the engine spotless!!

Sorry, but it's an axle thread

The front Hub comes with 610-149 1/2"x20 studs. They have a .625 knurl so I cross referenced to a 610-278 that is 9/16x18. It was an easy swap and the studs are longer. I dont remember the part number for the stock 1/2" rear studs but they crossed with 610-300 in the rear. While Curries...

Sorry, but it's an axle thread

9/16" because that's what I have now and it's easier for them to install the off the shelf studs during assembly than it is for me to do it. Let's not forget that their mission statement is to solve my needs!!! They didn't just deny me the 9/16 stud, but also 5x5.5, and also refused to...

Sorry, but it's an axle thread

Currie doesn't want my business. I tried to give them my money three times, but they aren't having it. This quote is off their website.... and it is bullshit.. "So no matter what the application, bring us your problem and Currie Enterprises will create the perfect solution for your needs."...

Message from Gerald at Savvy Offroad

I've been emailing back and forth with Gerald since March 2023. There has been lots of excuses, but I get the impression that Gerald is being sincere and is also frustrated by all of the delays. Initially, I was going to post the entire email thread, but it isn't necessary. It was me asking...

    Just got my new hardtop

I bought a bulldawg highlander right at 1 month ago. And got it delivered today. I can't wait to get it installed. Gonna be a couple more weeks since my buddy is out of town and I'm working nights right now. Question, what to do with my old soft top and hardware? Trash or sell?

Where can I find rear brake rotors that are dual drilled or 5x5.5?

Howdy everyone/ I searched for awhile but had no luck locating rear rotors that are either dual drilled or 5x5.5. I know there has to be a compatible rotor that is already 5x5.5 but I had no luck trying to cross reference. Thanks

    WTB: Savvy Aluminum front bumper

Like the title said. Ive been told that Savvy is a race shop that dabbles in parts... Not sure what that means.. I kinda figured that a race shop would manufacture and install parts.. Maybe I just don't know WTF a race shop does.. At any rate, I have reached out to Savvy 50+ times in the last...

    Savvy Offroad??

I've been trying to buy a savvy front bumper and tie rod for about a year and a half. I've emailed them several times and NEVER got a response, and I've called and gotten basically nothing. Anyone have the inside scoop on Savvy? Business in trouble? No longer give a rats ass about the...

This took me 3 days. 3 Sheets of white plastic paneling, 6 different colors of spray paint. And a 10x20 sheet of black plastic. My LJ in view for forum relevance
