Nothing too impressive, but a set of O2 sensors (still on the originals at 110k, but no issues that I can tell, still deciding if i want to swap them right away) and new struts for the hard top glass. I've neglected the bad ones for so long, I forgot how high they actually lift the glass.

So far so good. I used the 3M SMC epoxy. I did expect it to be more "watery" when i was working with it, but it ended up being thicker, which made me almost have to treat it like a paste. Im sure theres a better term for my particular repair, but i tried to "dish" the edges as best I could...

@bedhed thanks, I did finish and the extra thickness was no issue. I am satisfied with the results, sanding it down to shape was easy. Its definitely not perfect, and I left the resin part slightly raised to give it some heft, but I went over it with satin black spray paint and it looks good...

That'd be a good idea too, I think folks have said it was difficult to get C rated tires with 16" wheels so I didn't look too hard at that option. Im overdue for a new set of tires, so I was also looking into it to cut costs as well, I know people have said they've had good luck getting a set...

At one point I spent a lot of time looking for different wheels and tire combos to try and make metric 32s work which from what I found meant going to 17s and nothing appealed to me. Now, some of the new wheels from the JLs and Gladiators look good and would be tempting, but ultimately not...

That does help, thanks. Was hoping to just avoid a little hassle if I could, before I even get it back on the jeep. All things being equal, I thinking and extra 1/8" shouldn't be an issue.

Afternoon all, I am working on a hard top repair of the bottom inside corner that cracked and broke off on me. Im looking for the distance between the inside edge of the lip and the back edge of the soft top tail gate bar mounts. I plan on leaving my repair a little thicker for extra support...

Hopefully it'll be a non-issue for you, and its just my top. But by the design, seems like all of them would have the potential for it to happen. When it does it the metal parts of the frame hit each other so it's pretty obnoxious. Id say it's not too noticeable until maybe 45 mph or so.

I have the OEM sunrider on mine, it always gave me issues and ive stopped using it. I dont know if non-sunrider tops work this way, but the front section has U shaped pieces that rest on the bars (i assume to allow the top to fold back) running along the top of the roll bar. If everything is...

I'd have to agree with @Hammer24 for overall aesthetics. A small to moderate lift 2-4" and a little bit larger tires (which I think is what the LJ should have come with stock, due to the extra length to make it look right) are the sweet spot for me, with overall stock appearance. Same goes for...

I've daily driven mine since 06, 110k-ish miles on it now, but ive always had a very short commute. If I ever have to do a long daily commute, I'd bite the bullet and get something else to keep the miles off.
