@TJScott Nice! I also installed mine without removing the skid and DS. A little added extra challenge but doable. I had to get a bit creative with the swivel heads sockets and the wrenches but nothing that wasn't unachievable. Also, I used some boards on a jack stand that I laid on it's side...

Just called Saavy and the 231 does not work on the Rubicon models so looks like I have to return and get the 241 kit.

Looks like the 241 is for the Rubicon only and the 231 is for TJ in general. I have a Rubicon so hopefully the 231 will still work for it? :unsure:

Just realized this is the 231 kit and not the 241.

Just got this kit in and going to install it this weekend. It looks like some of the parts have changed and now include a new shifter for the transfer case and a clevis similar to the Novak kit. These were not in @andy29847 photo above.

I got under to take a look at the sensor connection and found it was cracked close to where the wiring is on the sensor side. Could be the culprit, hmm.

@AndyG it blinks all the time now. It used to just blink at random times while driving (not being engaged) and it has progressively gotten worse, as in the blinking light stays on longer. Now it's on (blinking) all the time. During actuation the light stays solid and works normal. I haven't...

@AndyG do you think It's something that can be easily fixed? If I take the carrier out and do the string and stick trick. Or replace the sensor all together. Or should I just leave it to the shop to do if there is too much liability to more damage.

Yes I did have someone put in a stock locker from another rubicon a few years ago. It ran fine for a year or so then started to do the random blinking from time to time. Now it basically does it all the time.

My rear locker light is blinking at weird random times while driving without the locker engaged. Could this be the sensor pin you guys were talking about? Also do you have a link to the video? I tried to find it on youtube and wasn't able to.

I had to drop my skid a bit today to remove the exhaust. I noticed there was an area that looks like it needs to be bolted down. There was one bolt on the skid directly below these holes. I had this transmission installed about 6 months ago and haven't driven it around all that much in that...

Copy that. I'm not sure it is rubber 🤔 But I'll take another crack at it tomorrow and put some more pressure on it. BTW this is on a 2006 TJ, not sure if that makes a difference.

I'm removing the oil pan to get replace the rear main seal. This is where the tranny connects and where the RMS is so I'm hesitant about damaging this part to get to the bolt heads.
