    Twist in coil spring spacers

Not really a question for solving a problem, just conversation - I was looking for coil spacers and came across a video and some other links for "twist in coil spacers" - they look like little pieces of black licorice. Not the spacer I have for my OME lift that sits on top of the coil, these...

    Mystery Upper Half Doors

I have the BestTop and there is not the "bulky" lower that matches up with the door. As well, the BT have little "flippers" towards the bottom of the glass that [ theoretically ] lock the sliders. These look like the lock is in the center. How's that for an answer that does not answer the...

Light switch not lighting up correctly

sorry is it when you "pull" to turn on lights, or once the lights are on the "rotation". LED behave differently than the original lights and the dimmer/rotate might not work as expected ( if at all ). LED's also might need a resistor, but I won't go there just yet...

    Creaking Steering Column

Does it sound like a duck? I have a 98 TJ that when I turn the wheel, sounds duck-ish. I have not been in it for a couple days, but I'm pretty sure it happens both left and right, and I also think it's the initial part of the turning, not so much if you keep turning, but I might not be...

Jeep is 1 inch lower on passenger side

Those are actually shown in the image on Amazon, but not included in the kit. My left-to-right diff is growing from my original post, now around 1" (like the OP). Might try these on the passenger side ( b/c wouldn't just switching sides cause the driver's to be the lower? ): Rubicon Express...

Jeep is 1 inch lower on passenger side

I have the same lift on a 98 TJ, along with the same issue, and a similar post @ https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/ome-lift-shocks-are-uneven.25572/ I'm pretty (like 100%) sure I put coils on the side they were supposed to go on (well, according to instructions), but as others have pointed...

    Ideas for storing hardtop outside?

Love that idea - I have one of those cheapy folding trailers from Harbor Freight so I can use it in a pinch for that all-important junk run to the dump...

Jeep Wrangler TJ has to turn over for a while before starting

+1 on timely thread - I've been doing steps 1, 2, and then 5 based on Chris' post (for over a year at least). Don't need steps 3 and 4, but otherwise sounds like the fuel pump issue... p.s. it's a 2.5 4-cyl, not sure if important or makes a diff

Does a Dana 30 Aussie locker make any noise in 2WD?

Thanks for the input - I have 31's and probably 100% certain that's as big as I'll go - SE with 4 mighty cylinders. Actually, I did not notice a diff when going from stock to 31, but I just don't see a need with the trails I'm on. ... and if I'm being totally honest, this is solely a want...

Does a Dana 30 Aussie locker make any noise in 2WD?

Please keep us updated on the progress - I'd like to get a locker, but really don't want to upgrade the axles (I know it's recommended and I know it should be done - just really don't want to).

Oregon Trade factory black bumpers for factory grey bumpers?

I just remembered that about a year and a half ago I pained my fender flares - they were super faded to light gray and I got them back to black. Now, I know these are plastic and the bumper is metal, but I think if you get a good spray paint it will hold (if you really want grey). Except for...
