I sent him a PM because I edited the post as he was replying in regards to the adapter. The one you just linked is the one that I just purchased as it works for my application. The one he originally linked to by accident is basically a reversed adapter.

Thanks for the amazingly quick reply. As far as soldering them, I'd think the easiest way would be to cut the connector off the actual harness and find a way to connect directly to the headlights. I think I'll just get over it and wait for the adapter, though. I'd like to be able to keep...
