Yeah it can take a couple days for a CEL to clear. And know that aftermarket locking gas caps are more prone to leak air than the OEM...

The PCM only runs the test on cold start up and the fuel tank has to be between 1/4 to 3/4 full.

Most times the CEL will clear after about 5 drive cycles, (warm up, cool down).

I did a similar lift to you... and had to replace the stock shifter linkage with a cable shifter. It solved a problem of the transfer...
